Enni Ids Cabin

Enni Ids cabin is located in the village of Kellosalmi in Padasjoki.

The small home of naivistic artist Enni Id (1904-1992) at Seitniemi is a total work of art rich in colour. It is painted from floor to ceiling with the artist's favourite themes: floral and plant ornaments and cats. On her oil paintings Enni Id also portrayed angels, devils and the peasant uprising known as the Cudgel War. The general public came to know her works through naivistic art exhibition at Kunsthalle Helsinki in 1973.


The cabin is maintained by Kellosalmi-Seitniemi-Virmaila village association.

Cafe is open during opening hours.
